CELEBRITIES AND THEIR ACTIVITIES DURING HOME QUARANTINE

Spread the love

What are your favorite celebrities up to in this time of enhanced community quarantine where we are all forced to stay home? Bata man o matanda, mayaman o hindi, sikat man o hindi–lahat ay kailangang mag-cooperate sa pagpapatupad ng gobyerno ng ECQ.

This way, covid-19 won’t keep spreading and we can hopefully help flatten the curve as the ECQ period reaches its end.

Naging mahirap sa umpisa ang ECQ lalo na sa mga busy and working individuals in showbiz na sanay na laging on the go ang everyday life nila.

Some had to make adjustments lalo na sa schedules and activities to do at home alone or with family.

Of course, dahil techy na rin ang mga artista ngayon- karamihan ay nasa gadgets nila at nagti-Tiktok, others spend time in the kitchen inventing new recipes, meron ding nagtatanim sa backyard nila, winner din ‘yun mga into fitness routine. O di ba?

TICKTOKERS, GARDENERS atbp.

Marami ang nahuhumaling sa TikTok ha. Na entertain ng mga celebrities ang sarili nila pati na rin ang kanilang mga followers.  Ang mga nakakaaliw na posts, to name a few, are those of Yeng Constantino and Angeline Quinto, Amy Perez, Mika dela Cruz and boyfriend Nash Aguas, Vice Ganda, John Prats, Heart Evangelista, Inigo Pascual, Maja Salvador and boyfriend Rambo Nunez.

Sa fitness naman siyempre hindi papahuli sina Kim Chiu, JM de Guzman, Jake Cuenca, Matteo Guidicelli at iba pa.

Special mention din kay Isabelle Daza na nakagawa ng animated book to explain to children about the covid-19 situation. At winner dahil may Tagalog version pa ito ha.  Si Marlo Mortel naman ay naka buo ng 4 original song compositions during the lockdown.

And our favorite stars continue to show concern for our kababayans through fund-raising shows and concerts on line tulad nung kina Gary V, Regine Velasquez at mga Cornerstone artists. Bongga di ba?

GIVING BACK

If there is one thing good that came out of this medical crisis, it’s how people learn to give back. In show business, people from different departments contributed to the urgent needs of  society as we all battle covid-19.

Patuloy ang pagbibigay serbisyo publiko ng mga TV Networks, mga artista ng malalaking istasyon at kaliwa’t kanan din ang charity works ng mga ito.

Angel Locsin, Sharon Cuneta, KC Concepcion,  Ogie & Regine Alcasid, Dingdong Dantes, Gerald Anderson, Bea Alonso, Vice Ganda and Julia Barreto & sisters are among the many stars who went out of their way to help our frontliners and those who are in need of isolation tents, PPE’s, food and other basic needs.

Juday had a soup kitchen and made meals for our kababayans who lost their jobs because of this pandemic. Pokwang made sandwiches for military men at check points and for frontliners in hospitals as well as distributed grocery items. At marami pa silang mga celebrities who went out of their way to contribute time, money and effort in this trying time.

LESSONS IN LOCKDOWN

As we all wait for the completion of the lockdown, there are also lessons we must take note of. That we are all the same in the eyes of God, ke artista man o hindi, mayaman o mahirap ‘sa mga ganitong panahon, sama-sama pa rin tayong nakikipag-laban para manalo sa virus na ito.

Second, humility wins.

There is beauty in humble hearts.

Lastly, stars shine in the darkest.

There is peace when we are one.
