WHAT QUAN I GIVE YOU THIS CHRISTMAS?

Spread the love

Christmas is in the air! In a few days we will be celebrating once again the birth of our savior Jesus Christ, my favorite time of the year!  Despite the pandemic, we can still feel the spirit of Christmas.  It is said that the Philippines celebrates this season the longest.

Filipinos by nature are hospitable and giving. We love to prepare festive dishes for Noche Buena and partake these with family and friends.  For others, even a simple table would suffice as long as members of the family are together during the celebration.

QUAN Native Delicacies has been a part of the Bacolodnon’s food table since it opened in the mid-90’s. People come back to Quan because the products are really tasty and more importantly, affordable.   Known for their kakanin, it has become a popular go-to pasalubong and bring-to-party food that comes in a conveniently packed bilao in different sizes.

CHRISTMAS PACK

Owned by mother and daughter team Agnes Cuenca and Chole Chua, QUAN Delicacies has prepared something special for their valued customers. Each cake that you order from Quan this Christmas season is beautifully packed with sealed in freshness.  You are guaranteed that the cake you order just got out of the oven.

Beautifully packed cakes

I got this lovely Christmas pack and it has all the goodies made by Quan- Butter Cake, Banana Loaf, the super moist Apple Walnut Loaf and Fruit Cake.

My family and I enjoyed the goodness in every bite of Quan’s cakes. My personal favorite is the Red Velvet cake, topped with cream cheese and sugar sprinkle candies that add sweetness to every bite.

I also tried the Banana Cake and Butter Loaf, both are really moist and you’d know that it’s made from quality ingredients.

Each slice of this Apple Walnut Loaf is yuuum!

Aside from these baked goodies and native pasalubong delicacies, Quan’s menu has improved and evolved through the years. In selected Quan outlets, you can dine in and try their rice meals. I’ve tasted their Tapa with Rice and it’s good! They also have packed viands which you can bring home (Quan Sud-an) like pangat, dinuguan and kare-kare. They also serve afternoon meryenda fare such as the famous Batchoy, Siopao, Mami, Pancit and more.
