CHEF GIL GEORGE JUCABAN FROM ILOILO WON IN THE REGIONAL BATTLE
KITCHEN MASTERS
In our everyday lives they are our heroes, yet they aren’t always given due credit. Chefs, cooks, kusineros—they’re the ones who prepare and cook our food whether in fancy restaurants or five star hotels or karinderyas and hole in the wall eateries in the streets near our home.
WHO WILL BE THE GRAND WINNER?
SOLANE, the leading brand in LPG solutions recently brought to Bacolod Solane Kitchen Hero Chefs’ Edition which was held at the events hall of 888 Premiere Mall. Solane Kitchen Hero Chefs’ Edition is the first ever cooking competition that aims to discover the next big name in the culinary world. Well, who knows? The next discovery might be a family member or a friend of yours?
Parang Master Chef ang peg nito because each contestant has to prepare a dish and cook it under time pressure.
Solane Kitchen Hero Chefs’ Edition is a regional-to- national cooking tilt that will go from north to south and across 16 regional stops to recognize a new generation of talented chefs.
According to Isla LPG Corp. CEO Ruben Domingo, “Through the Solane Kitchen Hero Competition, we aim to recognize these chefs who are vital in bringing Filipino cuisine to the world stage. At the same time, we are on a quest to explore and highlight Filipino specialties that are unique to our provinces.”
