Movies at the Premier Cinema
Are you a movie buff? Do you want to treat yourself and your family by watching movies in a posh cinema? Then CityMall Mandalagan has the answer – they have recently opened their Premier Cinema to the public. It is located at the 2nd floor of the mall.
Along with other bloggers, I was able to watch the much talked about musical movie “The Greatest Showman” starring British actor Hugh Jackman together with Zac Efron, Michelle Williams and Rebecca Ferguson in full high definition color and sound.
Inside the cinema
The Premier cinema is equipped with only 40 lazyboy cushioned seats. So, if you want your date to be more private or you want to watch your favorite movie with lesser people coming in and out of the movie house, then Premier cinema is the newest go-to place in the city.
You may avail of the movie ticket outside the cinema and at the price of Php250, you get to experience a high end movie adventure. It’s as if you’re just lounging at home because you are seated in a comfortable cushioned lazyboy chair that moves when you press the button.
As I was preparing to watch The Greatest Showman, I positioned myself and felt comfy while waiting for the movie to start. I reclined my seat and adjusted my foot rest according to my desired position and I felt relaxed. While watching, I was able to move my body freely in the lazyboy chair. It gave me more room to move my legs and my body and I got to feel the movie in my own private space.
If you want to munch while watching, be sure you already bought something to eat at the Snack Bar. This way, you won’t be walking in and out because it is located outside the cinema.

Color and Sound
I’m quite particular with color and texture be it television or film. I like it a lot better when the colors are vibrant and not blurry and the sound is audible.
CityMall Premier Cinema promises this fantastic movie experience to its patrons, making each one look forward to coming to the movie house. This is the first ever cinema in Bacolod to have this kind of set up and design so Bacolodnons and people from other parts of the province can come and enjoy what they are offering.
After a satisfying movie experience
The restrooms are located at the back which is a few meters away from the cinema so I had to wait for the movie to end before proceeding to the rest room.
Enjoy and spread the word
I have watched movies in various cinemas in Metro Manila and I can say that CityMall Premier cinema can compete with them in terms of comfort, technology and design. This is an exciting treat for Bacolodnons and I’m sure you will really enjoy your future movie dates as much as we did.
