CHRIST THE REDEEMER COLUMBARIUM COMPLEX: WHERE LIFE AND LOVE NEVER ENDS

Spread the love

TERESA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

The province of Negros Occidental is known to have vast lands with its soil rich in minerals and where sugarcane, fruit bearing trees and other agricultural crops abound. It was during the boom of the local sugar industry that Negrense hacienderos went full blast in cultivating their land for the planting of sugarcane. Unfortunately, the 80’s saw the downfall of the “kalamay” industry in Negros so families who relied on it for a living bravely ventured into other businesses.

Mr. Ramon Lacson, a haciendero who owns vast tracts of land in the province, became the pioneer in the memorial park business in Bacolod City by developing the sugarcane fields in his haciendas around the city and in nearby Talisay through his company, Teresa Development Corporation. Almost 40 years after, these properties are all well known names.  One of these is called Rose Lawns Memorial Park.

CELEBRATING LIFE WITH DIGNITY

Rose Lawns Memorial Park sits on a 20 hectare property developed through the years by TDC.  The park exudes a calm and tranquil atmosphere making it a perfect choice for a final resting place.

I am a resident of Barangay Bata, Bacolod City (since birth) and the words “Rose Lawns” have always been part of my daily existence. Why? Because I live along the street we named after it – Rose Lawns Road, as it leads to where the park is located.  My frequent visits to my dear departed made me see first hand how Rose Lawns Memorial Park has developed to its full glory– from its early days to what it is today. Going to Rose Lawns doesn’t give me that eerie feel at all. It is the only memorial park that I have gone to where I feel at peace and can concentrate on praying for my departed loved ones without the “goose bump” vibe. The cool winds coming directly from Mt. Marapara and the wide manicured lawns add to the calm and peaceful feeling.  This is what attracts more families to visit their loved ones on a regular basis.

PARK OF THE LIVING

Aside from well maintained manicured lawns, Teresa Development Corporation and Funeral Services sees to it that clients of Rose Lawns Memorial Park get their money’s worth. TDC management has upgraded the park’s amenities and services to be able to give full coverage to every client’s needs and requests for their beloved dead.  As Mr. Lacson mentioned, TDC management continuously puts in new ideas because they want  to keep up with modern times to satisfy the needs of varying generations.

Aside from the park’s amenities, Mr. Lacson proudly said that they were the first to introduce the carnival and fireworks display every November 1st.  Upon request, canopies can also be installed for families  to get together in comfort and commemorate the lives of their departed loved ones. This is what my family and friends do when we celebrate All Saints Day at Rose Lawns.  We get together, share food and repeatedly share timeless stories.

TDC is one in making these things possible for us, to make our loved ones feel they are not forgotten even thereafter.

CHRIST THE REDEEMER COLUMBARIUM COMPLEX:

TDC’S NEW PROJECT

How prepared are you to leave this life? Oftentimes, we avoid this topic because we Pinoys are a lot conservative and superstitious beliefs regarding the dead are deeply ingrained in our culture.  It always seems that we are not ready to talk about “death” topics and always in denial that life on earth is temporary.

But times have changed.  People are now more open and consider other options on how they want their departed ones buried like cremation and columbarium burial.  It may be more convenient for them and less expensive compared to memorial lots.  Considering this need,  Teresa Development Corporation has announced the construction and development of Christ The Redeemer Columbarium located inside Rose Lawns Memorial Park.

It’s a reality that losing a family member is not only an emotional burden but a financial one as well so it’s always better to have funeral arrangements, services and bills settled accordingly.
