After a haitus of four years, Bacolod City once again celebrates its signature dish, the chicken inasal. Rebranded from Manokan Country Inasal Festival, the Bacolod Chicken Inasal Festival brings together vendors-restaurants in designated spots for food, music and entertainment from May 26 to 28.
The most popular convergence of inasal vendors are found at the Manokan Country, right across SM City Bacolod. With hundreds of locals and visitors already making inasal hotspot the place to dine every day, the Festival itself is expected to draw in even bigger flocks of diners, all eager to get their fill of the city’s famous grilled chicken.

Mayor Albee Benitez, Councilor Celia Flor, and Bacolod City officials will honor the city’s entrepreneurs and award winners at the various competitions at the Chicken Inasal Awards Night. It is a celebration for the people of Bacolod, who have been instrumental in pushing chicken inasal as the best grilled chicken in the country and a top dish of the world.
