Hari ng Aksyon sa Ating Henerasyon Coco Martin thanked ABS-CBN, ALLTV2, A2Z, and TV5
for coming together to bring the action series, “Coco Martin’s Sigabo,” to more viewers as
the premiere episode registered a strong 404,124 peak concurrent viewers on YouTube on
Monday (June 22).
“Grateful kasi nandito lahat. Nagsama-sama, nagtulong-tulong. Hindi ko ma-imagine na
pupunta dito ang TV5, ALLTV2, at A2Z. Kasi ang ibig sabihin nito, isinisigaw natin sa buong
Pilipinas na dapat magtulong-tulong tayo at magsuportahan para dito sa ‘Sigabo,’” said
Coco at the Kapamilya special screening that was attended by cast members, employees,
and executives from the different TV networks, highlighting how media companies continue
to work together to serve more viewers.
Prime Actress Julia Montes echoed the same sentiment and also shared how proud she is of
their newest action series that Filipinos will enjoy, “Ito na ‘yung produkto na mapapanood
ng mga tao at para siyang pelikula. Lagi naman sinasabi ng ABS-CBN na ‘in the service of
the Filipino.’ Ang pinaka-importante ay nagsama-sama ang lahat.”
Coco made his grand TV comeback in an action-filled and feel-good first episode that aired
on multiple television and online platforms, sparking widespread buzz among viewers.
Their fellow cast members also lauded the cinematic quality of the action sequences and
highlighted how Coco continues to elevate his productions, delivering world-class
storytelling and visuals that are at par with international series.
Apart from the high intensity action sequences, among the highlights of the episode was
CocoJul’s unexpected kiss after their characters Gabo (Coco), an ex-convict turned secret
agent, and Sam (Julia), an investigative agent, clashed following a high speed car chase.
Coco and Julia celebrated the launch of their newest series with a jam-packed day of
festivities that kicked-off with a Kapamilya cast welcome held at ABS-CBN where “Sigabo”
cast members, directors, and production staff were warmly welcomed by ABS-CBN executives and employees.
Yeng Constantino also leveled-up the energy at the special screening where she gave a live
performance of the “Sigabo” theme song, and select cast members were also able to show
their love to online viewers during a special Kapamilya Online Live gap show to talk more about the series.
Meanwhile, Kapamilyas from all over the country continue to fill the streets to show their all-out love and support for Coco, Julia, and their co-stars at the “Sigabo” nationwide
motorcade, highlighting Coco’s enduring connection with Filipino audiences. Kapamilyas can join the fun at the next stop happening this June 28 at Pampanga.
