HUWAG KANG MANGAMBA STARS HAVE BECOME FAMILY

One of the ways to create a healthy working environment is to treat each other as family. This perhaps, is one of the reasons why the stars of Huwag Kang Mangamba, despite being on lock in taping, are enjoying their work.

The happy cast of this Kapamilya teleserye joined the mediacon for bloggers/ media for VISMIN last Thursday, June 10. The powerhouse cast of seasoned actors is led by Ms. Sylvia Sanchez, Ms. Eula Valdez, Mylene Dizon,  Matet de Leon, Enchong Dee, RK Bagatsing, Dominic Ochoa and Nonie Buencamino. Also joining them in this fantasy/political drama teleserye are the popular young stars of this generation namely Andrea Brillantes, Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin and Kyle Echarri popularly known as the Gold Squad.

LOCK IN LOCATION

We are still facing this crazy pandemic but it shouldn’t be the reason for us to stop moving and living our lives. It’s really good to know how ABS-CBN has found ways to be able to continue to provide jobs and livelihood to actors,  TV crew and staff despite the uncertainty.

One of the efficient ways to shoot nowadays is by lock in taping on location.

This seems to have worked well with the cast of HKM because according to them they became closer and work has become easier for them.

“Actually, tuwing aalis nga ako papuntang taping sasabihin ng asawa ko who by the way is a Cebuana, excited ka ba dahil babalik ka na sa trabaho o dahil sa mga kasama mo?” Ganito kasi kami rito (sa taping) para na kaming pamilya.” Dominic shared to the media.

Sylvia, Nonie and Mylene also have the same reaction. In fact, in the taping family, it’s Ibyang (Sylvia) who cooks for them as she is known to be a good homemaker and cook as well. While the mediacon was ongoing Dominic and The Gold Squad exchanged jokes and shared their support for each other. This even brings out more good vibes and great rapport among the characters in this teleserye.

THE LESSON WE LEARN IN HKM

Huwag Kang Mangamba, as the title suggests, is a story where your faith will be tested. When asked what take away can we learn after watching this show, TGS answered.

“Sa akin, kahit ano pa ang pinagdadaanan mo, hindi ibig sabihin wala nang paki si BRO (Jesus) sa ‘yo. Hindi natin ‘yun tini-take as parusa sa atin, as pampahirap ng buhay.”–Francine

“Dapat ang faith po natin, buong-buo hindi yung tatawag lang tayo sa Panginoon ‘pag me kailangan tayo. Dapat lagi mo Syang dala, sa success mo, sa downfall mo, lagi Syang andun. Yun po.”–Seth

“Natutunan ko po to always keep your faith kahit anong mangyari. At laging mahalin ang pamilya.” Kyle

As the story unfolds, Mira and Joy (Andrea Brillantes and Francine Diaz) will finally unmask Deborah (Eula Valdes) as a fraudulent faith healer whose spectacular public miracles are nothing but a hoax in the teleserye “Huwag Kang Mangamba,” which also airs weeknights on TV5.

Follow Mira and Joy’s search for the truth by rescanning any digital TV box at home, such as the TVplus box, to watch fresh episodes of “Huwag Kang Mangamba” on TV5.

In the series’ next episodes, the two girls will be able to find a video that will expose Deborah and prove that she staged her miracles, which include petals raining down from the sky and healing the sick.

As Deborah’s lies are uncovered, she will continue to keep secret the truth that Mira and Joy are long-lost sisters.

Will Deborah be able to prevent her fall from grace? Will the people in Hermoso finally believe Mira and Joy’s miracles and that they are able to talk to Bro? How will Mira and Joy find out their real connection?

TV5 is one of the many platforms where Filipinos can enjoy their favorite shows as ABS-CBN continues to find ways to reach audiences wherever they may be.

Last May, ABS-CBN launched its “Andito Kami Para Sa’ Yo” plug on social media, a year after the shutdown of its broadcast operations, to reiterate its commitment to serving and providing Filipinos with entertainment through its shows on free TV, cable TV, and online.
