Globe Invades Masskara Festival in Bacolod
Masskara Festival is one of the country’s popular festivals and certainly, Bacolod’s pride. It is celebrated every month of October with street parades, dancing, masks and with food kiosks and stalls displayed in every corner of the downtown area, in the Lacson St. strip and at the BGC (Bacolod Government Center) where Masskara Festival activities are being held.
GLOBE and Masskara
What do Globe and Masskara have in common? They both give people reasons to enjoy and have fun!
On the 26th, Globe brought in Sponge Cola and other OPM musicians which made the crowd party and sing at the top of their voice. DJ Sedano, Kat DJ and other local DJs also collaborated in this event.
GLOBE FOOD FAIR
A portion of Lacson St. was closed from October 26- October 28, to give way to Masskara events –stage set-up for the programs and concert, huge speakers, booths and of course, the part that we all love and my favorite too— the food fair! Stalls of inasal, various Ilonggo favorites and meryenda fare were eye candy to those strolling around the area. Locals and tourists also enjoyed their favorite dishes at the GLOBE POP: Masskara Food Fair where they gave away free drinks and freebies plus other promos to Globe users.
I LOVE FREEBIES
GLOBE also gave away shirts, umbrellas, pouches, loot bags and more with some simple mechanics in order to avail of the items for free. So next year be sure you’d be at the Globe booth again to join the fun and have as many freebies as you want.
GLOBE GAMING TOURNAMENT
The first ever Globe at Home League of Legends competition was held at Mineski, La Salle. Something new especially for millenials but I’m sure the Titas and Titos were also interested and curious what’s this was all about. As Globe adds more activities each year, it keeps us looking forward to join in one of their games in the future. Exciting, isn’t it?
