Happening at the Newport Performing Arts Theater
Singing sensation Gigi De Lana is ready to rock the concert stage live in her first on-ground concert event “Gigi De Lana and The Gigi Vibes: Domination,” happening on March 5 (Saturday) at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila.
“Domination” is ABS-CBN Events’ first live concert with audiences to be present at the venue since the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020. Joining ABS-CBN Events is Resorts World Manila as co-producer.
The concert will also have a special streaming on KTX.ph on April 23 (Saturday) for the enjoyment of the fast-growing fanbase of Gigi and her band, The Gigi Vibes, around the world.
At the mediacon via zoom,Gigi said they are preparing well for for this concert considering this will be their first live performance again after two years of digital streaming.
A SINGING SWEETHEART DISCOVERED
Gigi ( Mary Gidget dela Llana in real life) joined Tawag ng Tanghalan where she charmed the audience and judges with her rendition of the 80s and 90s ballads. She belted Whitney Houston’s Didn’t We Almost Have It All and her version wowed even the millenials. She may not have won the grand prize but today Gigi and her band are making it big online and as concerts start to go live again they will surely be fully booked in the days to come.
“ We are very thankful po sa mga blessings na dumarating sa amin. Saka right timing din talaga na nagsasama-sama kami as one. So, kung ano ang blessings ko, blessings namin lahat kumbaga para sa amin yun.” she said.
Gigi and The Gigi Vibes will bring not just their musicality on stage but also their charm and fun dynamics and will deliver a fresh repertoire never-before-heard in their online gigs.
GIGI: THE BREAKTHROUGH STAR
One of 2021’s breakthrough stars who headlined the YouTube Music Night and featured as one of the performing artists in 1MX Dubai last December. Gigi welcomed 2022 with a bang with the release of her self-titled debut album featuring her hit single “Sakalam.” She also recently gave life to “Nasa’yo Ako,” the official soundtrack of “Viral Scandal” and “Bakit Nga Ba Mahal Kita,” which serves as the OST of “Hello Heart.”

Those who would like to watch the concert live at the Newport Performing Arts Theater can avail tickets at P8,000 (platinum), P7,000 (SVIP), P6,000 (VIP), P5,000 (gold), P3,500 (silver), and P1,500 (bronze). Meanwhile, online viewers can purchase tickets on www.ktx.ph at P695 (SVIP), P495 (VIP), and P195 (regular) for the KTX streaming on April 23.
